I often read personal development books with the hope of getting a revelation that will change my mindset, my way of being for the better. I guess that is the least I hoped for when I purchased Impact: What Every Woman Needs to Know to Go From Invisible to Invincible. Well, let me just say that I was not prepared for what actually happened to me, page after page, after page, after page.When something is transparent, it is capable of transmitting light so that objects or images can be seen as if there were no intervening material. Strangely,as I read each word, each phrase that Nancy so directly delivered, my many layers of complexity seemed to peel away until I was forced to see myself without any "intervening material." I literally became transparent to the one person who really matters--ME.
It was as if she pulled me into some magnetic field right from the start with the "Message from the Author: Just Between You and Me." Honestly, I think if she had only written this section and called it Impact, I would have been satisfied. Yes, that's how good it is. Some kind of way, Nancy touched all of the hurtful, sensitive places and nailed my struggles dead-on. I actually thought we had possibly met somewhere, in a diner, in a forum, at Starbucks perhaps, and had a deep, personal conversation that I had somehow forgotten. How else would she be able to read me so effortlessly?
But, to my delight, that was just the beginning. The fact that the book is divided into five major sections that are then uniquely expressed in small essays is a surprising treat....essays, yes, essays. Nancy spoke to me about specific areas of my life as a woman in delicate yet straightforward essays. What an ingenious idea! As a result, I was able to breeze through book with a little more than 250 pages.
As a woman and brand new entrepreneur, I was so grateful for the unexpected gift I received from Impact. I walked away with an entirely new perspective on who I am and what I am here for. I walked away knowing that I am obligated to make an impact in this world and that my business is a vehicle by which to do that. Most importantly, I walked away proud to be me--the only me out of over 7 billion people on the planet.

This is one of those books that has so many hidden gems, but you've got to wade in to find it.
This book should come with a warning "After reading this book, you will feel so enlightened and joyful that you will feel like you can fly. Please do not attempt! Failure to follow this warning could result in bodily damage." In spite of this warning, I am still flying high and defying gravity! Thank you Nancy!
If you DON'T want to be successful, powerful or empowered! Many, many aha moments with this book! Nancy gets done to the basics and then takes you to higher levels than you ever thought you could reach.
It's more than about enabling women. It's about taking control of your life and realizing the destiny you always dreamed about. Nancy helps you get everything you ever wanted from life. Mixing poetic charm with a "swift kick in the skirt", Nancy unlocks the keys to you doing some amazing things.

Just started this yesterday. It is great. I am looking forward to reading more.
The "it" refers to my life - and yours. On the outside, I had the perfect life a great relationship, a great family, a great job, a great house, a great life. Everything was great!!! I had everything I dreamed of, wished for, wanted or could buy. Except; on the inside, I was a mess. I was missing something, but I couldn't figure out what I was missing. Turns out, I was missing ME. Nancy has given me the greatest gift ever - knowing myself. I am now LIVING ON PURPOSE! The only thing that has changed is me, and it has changed my world! I still have the life I had before. I now embrace it and live it fully. I know me. I know myself. I know what my purpose is, and have the confidence to align my activities and my thoughts with that purpose. This has given me a peace and joy that I cannot express in words. This is a gift you can only give yourself. Nancy will show you how to do that. You are worth it!!
